About "20's Complex"
When you feel like you’re stuck in a time loop, where nothing is changing around you but yet everyday the calendar keeps rolling along and you’re one day older and you feel like time is being wasted. And this song was basically my nightly routine for about 2-3 months straight in 2020. I would wake up in the deep hours of the night, not being able to get out of my own head and then try to give myself a pep talk that everything will be alright. Luckily things got better and we wrote a rad song about it. - Mikey, The Break Plans
